Lavender Fresh Farm is committed to research into all aspects of lavender.
Breeding
Although Lavender Fresh Farm is not into creating new cultivars for the garden and for oil production at this time we do enjoy reproducing the cultivars we have. We use conventional cloning by hand to get the best results and to keep the genetics pure
Misnaming
Many lavenders have more than one name. Lavender Fresh Farm strives to ensure all of our plants are named correctly. Lavender names are more often a mess, especially when it comes to marketing lavender to the public. There are three main issues. Firstly, plants with the same name, but that are different. Secondly, plants that are the same, but with different names. Last but not least the misspelling and name corruptions.
Cultivation
Lavender Fresh Farm strives to get the best out of the facilities we have available. Each aspect of our farming practices from propagation, growing, pruning, and harvesting is focused on quality control. We do not allow pesticides or herbicides to touch our crops so that all forms of our products are free from contamination.
